Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Tekken Tag Tournament 2
Tekken Tag is back And boy does it have characters...  The roster in this game is huge! Biggest character selection option in Tekken ever!

This is the eighth main instalment in theTekken fighting game series, originally released in Japanese arcades on September 14, 2011. It received an update, subtitled Unlimited, on March 27, 2012. A console version based on the update was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September 2012, accompanied by an extensive promotional campaign. It was also ported to the Wii U as one of the system's launch titles in November 2012, subtitled Wii U Edition,,,

The game includes almost every character from past Tekken games, giving it the largest playable roster in a Tekken game to date. Players can choose either a team of two characters on each side or a solo character. It has been positively received by critics, holding averaged review scores in the range of 82-83% at both GameRankings and Metacritic for the PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 versions..

Unlike the original Tekken Tag TournamentTekken Tag Tournament 2 features a storyline although it is still not the series canon. Just like last time, it is more of a "dream match", giving fans the opportunity to play as almost every character in the series up to that point, including some of those that had apparently been missing in the main Tekken storyline, in addition to the character roster of Tekken 6.
In "Fight Lab", Violet is working on a new version of Combot. As soon as Combot is complete, Violet begins its simulation test. After the simulation test, the Combot explodes and destroys the lab. Violet decides to use the other functioning Combot to complete the tests. After Combot completes five tests, Violet kidnaps Jin, Kazuya and Heihachi for Combot's final test. Combot apparently has the upper hand, but Jin transforms into his devil form and destroys it. Violet blows up the Combot, presumably taking the Mishima bloodline with it, and says,"Excellent!"
The console release of the game features a total of 59 characters, including the return of KunimitsuMichelle Chang and Prototype Jack from the original TekkenAngel and Alex from Tekken 2Tiger JacksonForest LawDr. Bosconovitch and Ancient Ogre (originally known as just "Ogre") from Tekken 3 as well as Tekken 4'Miharu HiranoViolet and Combot, the latter of which can be customized with various moves from other characters. A slim version of Bob from his Tekken 6 ending and Lili's butler Sebastian make their debut as playable characters.

Some new characters include:

Combot: The robot you use in Fight Lab is available as a playable character in versus battles. This character has the unique aspect of a customizable moveset...

Jinpachi Mishima: The Tekken 5 boss, Heihachi's father returns as a playable character and he has a few tricks up his sleeve...

Jinpachi Mishima

Julia Chang/Jaycee: A masked version of Julia Chang. Possibly her alter ego. She dons a very colourful luchador outfit...

Kazuya Mishima/Devil Kazuya: Devil is back as a transformation on the base Kazuya Mishima model. All Kazuya players like me are quite pleased. The true devil is here...

Devil Kazuya

Slim Bob: The slim version of Bob Richards depicted inhis Tekken 6 ending movie is a playable character on the console version as a DLC character...

Slim Bob

Unknown: The boss in this game is also a playable character. This is possibly the darker side of Kazuya's love interest Jun Kazama. This is also a DLC character on console...

The tag system in this game is quite good and fuin to play around with. Level Up Your Game has a comprehensive guide on how to play the the game. Check out their Youtube channel: Level Up Your Game
